The season is turning cool. And so our thoughts turn to warming ourselves with friends and fire water. Yes, for the first time ever, the Young Associates bring you the story of Whiskey production in the Hudson Valley!

We are honored and thrilled to have Ralph Erenzo, co-founder of Tuthilltown Spirits, and his son Gable, as our guests and lecturers. Their Hudson brand of whiskeys is known to all of you. Tuthilltown whiskeys are the only legally distilled and aged grain spirits produced in New York since Prohibition. This eight year-old business succeeds by harkening back to an age, before Prohibition, when more than 1,000 farm distillers produced alcohol from New York grains and fruits.

Together, Ralph and Gable will share their insights about the tradition of Whiskey manufacturing in New York State, its relationship to the land, and why traditional batch-distilling is both an art and science.

No discussion of Whiskey would be complete without the ability to taste its power. And so Tuthilltown Spirits is generously providing us with ample opportunity to sample their line of Whiskeys: Bourbon, Rye, and Corn. Friends, come thirsty.

Conceiving of this wonderful night and hosting it are our dear friends and long-standing Young Associates: J. and Renee Heim. We thank them for their leadership, creativity and interest.

Finally, we are privileged to have the continued support of our corporate sponsor Old Stone Kitchens & Country Flooring, owned by our dear friend Pete Munzer: Incredible style from someone we know.

Please RSVP soon to ensure we have enough libations! Tickets are $40 per person, $70 per couple, or free to members of the Young Associates.

We hope to see you soon!
