This rosewood chair and the waling stick with the duck-head and silver
mounting were given to the Society by Ollie Adams. They came from the
parlor of the home of George Pope Morris, "Undercliff" on Morris Avenue.
Mr. Morris was an editor and publisher, and wrote the lyrics for many
songs of the day, best known for "Woodman Spare That Tree."
